TOWN OF NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH CONSERVATION COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with Chapter 131, Section 40 of the Massachusetts General Laws, a Public Hearing will be held by the
Conservation Commission on TUESDAY, MARCH 24, 2020,
at 6:30PM in the Meeting Room in the Town Hall, at 43 South
Washington Street, North Attleborough, MA on the NOTICE
OF INTENT filed by the NEW ENGLAND POWER COMPANY.
The proposed work includes structure replacements, access
road improvements, work pad construction and installation of
overhead equipment within the National Grid ROW. The use of
temporary construction mats within the wetlands will be required
for access. Work will take place within Bordering Vegetated
Wetlands (BVW), the 100-ft Buffer Zone to BVW, and Bordering
Land Subject to flooding (BLSF). The project is a Limited Project
under 310 CMR 10.53(3)(d). Plans and/or proposals for said work
are on file with the Conservation Commission in Town Hall.
