Texas blues fills the air in North

The Willie J. Laws Band brought a mix of Texas-style funk and blues to their performance at the North Attleborough Cultural Council’s summer concert on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Willie J. Laws [in foreground] performed with his band as part of the Summer Concert Series on Aug. 6. Laws, a Massachusetts resident, has been performing for the last 25 years.
The audience has been consistently large for the weekly series of shows, which began in July and hosted by the North Attleborough Cultural Council. All shows were free and featured folk, rock, and blues musicians.
