The North Attleborough Firefighters Kid’s Day is returning July 25 and will feature a wide array of games, rides, and attractions of all kinds.

The Kid’s Day Association is a nonprofit organization run by the North Attleborough Firefighters and their families and friends. Over the course of the last 30-plus years, they have raised & donated tens of thousands of dollars for local charities and causes.

Four Things About This Event 

Every year the North Attleborough Firefighters Kids Day Association sponsors a fire truck parade with apparatus from all over Southern New England. The are awards in multiple categories, such as farthest traveled, best in show, newest truck, oldest truck and more. This year’s parade will be held on Saturday, July 27, at 11 a.m.

There will be a Touch-A-Truck event on July 28, 12-3 p.m. on the field area. Vehicles to be featured include fire engines, ambulances, police vehicles, excavators, dump trucks, and cranes. On Thursday, July 25, 6-9 p.m., there will be a Cruise Night Car Show. 

Kid’s Day will include a fireworks showcase, conducted by Atlas Pyrotechnics on Friday and Saturday night at 9:15 p.m. The fireworks are staged on the North Attleborough soccer fields in the rear of the high school. To avoid injuries, the Spring Street and Stoddard Drive walking paths to the school properties will be closed from Friday morning until Saturday night after the fireworks have concluded.

Musical performances are a strong part of the Kid’s Day festivities. These include Ayla Brown, Commonwealth, The Rob Davis Band, Morrissey Boulevard, and Fevah Dream.
