Why are you running for this position?
Consideration of all taxpayers, using common sense and exploring options and how decisions will affect all. To be open to having any town resident or group of to attend, be allowed to speak of any concerns or issues to the council without being scheduled
If elected, what issues would you like to focus on?
Change the dynamics of the Town Council, Planning Board, Zoning Board and School Committee to nine members, where one member is from each of the nine precincts. So all precincts are represented. Change the R.E. Tax billing to show breakdown ex:{RE Taxes, Debt Exclusion(s) on separate line} so the taxpayer knows what they’re being charged.
What sets you apart from other candidates?
Recognize some of the names, but don’t know them to say what sets me apart. But I have lived here my whole life with roots back to the 1900s.
What are some areas that the town has improved upon and what, in your opinion, remains to be done?
Need to stop rezoning commercial and industrial areas to mixed-use.
Being part of a board requires one to be a team player. Does your background lend you to working well in this environment?
Team player, yes, provided others on the team are willing. Anyone who knows me, am always there offering a helping hand
