Chess Club, 6 p.m.
Come play chess at the library. Drop into the children’s room on the first Thursday of the month and play a game or two. Open to Kids ages 8+, teens, and families. All experience levels welcome. Contact the children’s department for more details.
Genealogy: Overview of Immigration to America Before 1945, 7 p.m.
In this last session, Seema Kenney will talk about the conditions and regulations surrounding immigration in a given time period as well as the experience of arrival in various parts of North America.

Come to the library on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Tuesdays between 12 and 7 p.m. for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. ) activities. We will have a different activity out each day. STEAM cart days are best children ages 3+ with the direction of a parent. Activities are intended for independent or group play and are not librarian led.

Afternoon Book Discussion, 1:30 p.m.
An adventurous debut novel cutting between a competitive college swimmer’s harrowing days in the Rocky Mountains after a major airline disaster, and her recovery supported by the two men who love her–only one of whom knows what really happened in the wilderness.

Zentangle Class with Kristine Betts, 1:30 p.m.
Kristine Betts, a North Attleborough resident and owner of Pint-Size Picassos, has taught children, teens and seniors. She loves working with all media: watercolor, acrylics, jewelry, wire/metal art, and textiles. She believes art can be expressive and liberating for anyone, no matter their skill level. In this class, learn about Zentangle, create a beautiful design and embellish it with watercolor. Kristine will provide all materials. Class size is limited to 10 adults ages 18+.
