New North Attleborough Police Officers sworn in

Prior to the Town Council meeting on June 7, four new members of the North Attleborough Police Department were sworn in. Officers Antonia Zagami. Joseph Collins, Adam Lawson, and Ryan Koenig recently completed the academy.

Recently retired Capt. Joe DiRenzo outlined the extensive training that they underwent, including two Physical Agility Tests, a psych and medical exam, and the 26-year academy training.

Lawson joined the Army National Guard and attended the Worcester Police Academy. Zagami moved to North Attleborough at age 10 and received the Academy Director Award for contributing to the class’ success. Koenig is from Walpole, where his father works as a patrolman. Collins joined the Marine Corps and has lived in North Attleborough since he was 2.
