Junior Football kicks off the season
North Attleborough Junior Football held its opening day games on Saturday, Sept. 21 with six games, including this one with the fifth-grade North Attleborough against Milford. NAJF has teams across the elementary and middle school grade levels, which play against towns in the Hockomock and Tri-Valley leagues.
There are seven tackle and three flag teams, as well as four cheerleading squads. Michele Trimbach, vice-president of the NAJF, said that in addition to athletics, the player’s academics are recognized, with high-achieving students honored.
“If you can make a difference in one kid’s life, it’s worth it,” she said
