Keith A. Mueller, North Attleborough’s information technologies director, has been arraigned in Rhode Island’s Third Division District Court on charges of second degree child molestation and sexual assault.
Town Manager Michael Borg confirmed with the North Star Reporter that as of today, Mueller is no longer employed by the Town of North Attleborough.
According to Rhode Island’s judiciary public records, the date of offense was Feb 24., 2025, and the filing date was March 25. According to court records, Mueller, 51, was arraigned on Wednesday, March 26, entered no plea, and was released on a $10,000 bond and ordered to have no contact with minors. A pre-arraignment conference is set for 9 a.m. on June 23.
Under Rhode Island’s general laws, the statute Mueller was charged with, 11-37-8.3, is defined as: “a person is guilty of a second degree child molestation sexual assault if he or she engages in sexual contact with another person 14 years of age or under.”
According to Mueller’s LinkedIn profile, he has been employed by the Town of North Attleborough since November 1998. Borg provided the following statement:
“Keith Mueller is no longer employed by the Town of North Attleborough. As this is a personnel matter, no additional information will be released,” said Borg.
