Disco Night at Plainville Beagle Club
Spirit of Plainville is hosting a Disco Night on Saturday, April 12, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Plainville Beagle Club, 115 Everett Skinner Road, Plainville. This is a fundraiser to support 2025 events, including the summer concert series. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased via Paypal or by emailing SpiritofPlainville@gmail.com for cash or check.
This will be a night of dancing, costumes, light snacks, cash bar and a 50/50 raffle to support Spirit of Plainville’s 2025 events. Dress disco, dress to impress, or just dress how you’d like. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/WJ2JCRVA3NKUN.
Living Bread Food Pantry needs reusable bags
The Living Bread Food Pantry, a mission of the Plainville United Methodist Church, 16 E. Bacon St., Plainville, is in need of re-useable bags, the kind that can be found at the grocery store or from Target or Walmart. Brown paper grocery bags from Stop-n-Shop are also needed. Bags can be dropped off in the shed in the parking lot of the church anytime. The shed is checked and items are brought inside regularly.
