North Attleborough firefighters complete academy training

North Attleborough Fire Chief Christopher Coleman would like to congratulate firefighters Devin Conroy and Jason Sulinski upon their graduation from the Brockton Fire Academy earlier this month.

On April 5, firefighters Conroy and Sulinski graduated from the 13-week long Brockton Fire Academy. They were recognized alongside 12 other firefighters representing the Abington, Brockton, Easton, Stoughton and Scituate fire departments as part of Recruit Class 2024-01.

“On behalf of the men and women of the North Attleborough Fire Department, I would like to congratulate firefighters Conroy and Sulinski for graduating from the rigorous Brockton Fire Academy,” Coleman said. “I would also like to thank Brockton Fire Chief Brian Nardelli, Deputy Robert Hendrigan and the Brockton Fire Department for allowing us spots in the fire academy.”

Conroy and Sulinski now have their Firefighter I/II and Hazardous Materials First Responder Operations certifications. As part of the academy, they participated in daily classroom education, physical fitness and hands-on training. While attending the academy, they also visited the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services to take part in live fire training drills. Since their graduation, Conroy has been working with C Platoon while Sulinski has been working with B Platoon.
