From Aug. 16–22, the North Attleborough Fire Department responded to 92 runs for emergency assistance.
- 61 of these were Emergency Medical responses.
- 3 Motor Vehicle Collisions with injuries.
- 1 cooking fire without injuries or damage to home.
- 2 wires down.
- 3 calls for mutual aid to Plainville and Attleboro.
The remaining responses were due to a variety of general alarms or otherwise unspecified reasons.
As a reminder, if your smoke alarm uses regular batteries, change them at least once a year. A “chirping” sound indicates that it is time to change the batteries.
