From Feb 23.–March 1, the NAFD was requested at 94 calls for service.
* 71 were emergency medical requests with 60 requiring advanced life support measures to be taken.
* Six motor vehicle accidents with injuries reported.
*Three outside or structure fires.
The remaining responses were due to a variety of other needs, including odor investigations, electrical concerns, alarm activations, possible chemical spills, and assistance for the physically disabled.
Early in the morning on Friday, Feb. 28, all North Attleborough companies and mutual aid companies from several surrounding towns were required to mitigate a residential structure fire from which multiple people were transported for evaluation of smoke inhalation.
On Saturday evening, Feb. 29, both an engine company and ambulance were requested to cover stations in Attleboro for a period of time as companies in that city handled a structure fire.
Again on Sunday, March 1, all NAFD companies and mutual aid departments were on scene at a working structure fire in a residence in which several animals were lost.
